LABORATORY OF NUMERICAL METHODS (A230)

Laboratory Orientation
The laborathory is mainly used for educational process of students from several study fields of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Through teaching process, students use computers in subjects Numerical mathematics, Mathematical modeling and Applied mathematics. Students improve their skills in Excel, Matlab and X(PLORE). The laborathory includes 20 PCs and whiteboard with a projector.
Depanding on subject, students learn:
- to solve equations and systems of equations by numerical methods,
- to solve differentional equations and definite integral by numerical methods,
- to interpolate and extrapolate a function,
- to solve problems from linear programming,
- to solve problems from applied mathematics.
