TECHNICAL INSIDE SALES ENGINEER

Position Summary
Providing technical and commercial support to customers, Distributors and our field based sales team, primarily within the M&E market.

Main Duties
 Use customer information to select and size appropriate Pall Products.
 Provide customers with quotations.
 Follow up quotations to secure orders.
 To maintain computerized records of activities and store them within the appropriate system databases.
 To meet the departmental and individual key performance indicators agreed with your Line Manager.
 To deal with Customer Technical and / or Commercial queries and complaints.
 To ensure customer satisfaction in line with our Customer First directive.
 To ensure that all enquiries and orders are dealt with in accordance with the quality manual.
 Contract review of orders for correct price, part numbers and conditions.
 To provide cover for other Internal Sales Engineers and the Telesales team in their absence.
 To liaise with other Pall facilities to meet customer requirements.

Position Competencies
Knowledge & Key Skills:
 Product knowledge should be as complete as possible.
 Important that the Engineer can converse clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues about the divisional activity, i.e. requirements of the industry, use of filters within the Industry, technical and commercial issues regarding filtration.
 Ability to communicate clearly and effectively by telephone is essential.
 Strong communication skills both verbal and written are essential.
 Knowledge of Lotus Notes, SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel would be desirable.

Essential Qualifications/Education:
 Degree in engineering or scientific discipline.
 Fluent in English.

Essential Previous Experience:
 Desirable: Experience in a technical sales or customer service type role.
