Focus of the laboratory

Industrial computed tomography enables non-destructive non-contact measurement and scanning of parts in their entire volume using X-ray radiation. By using computed tomography (CT), we obtain a comprehensive view of the part from any angle and in any section. Volumetric data or a cloud of points representing the volume of the part is obtained from a number of radiographs (X-ray images) created when the part is scanned while it is rotating around a vertical axis. The laboratory is focused on the processing and visualization of volume data, evaluation of dimensions and shape deviations of scanned objects, analysis of defects in materials and other analyses.
