Today, the exhibits at EXPO 2020 Dubai were officially presented, including the MH2 sports car and the bus.
The hydrogen drive was developed at SjF and the implementation was carried out in collaboration with Rosero and Matador Group.
With the upcoming start of the academic year, the Rector's Directive PR/TUKE/11/21 on the measures related to the opening of the academic year 2021/2022 has been issued.
One of the responsibilities of students and employees is to get acquainted with COVID AUTOMAT, which monitors the development of the pandemic.
An “VTO” regime (“OTP” in Slovak) was defined for teaching in the premises of TUKE for students (point IV.3 of the cited Rector's Directive).
Teaching at SjF TUKE will be carried out as follows:
For employees, the “VTO” regime applies (point VI.1 of the cited Rector's Directive).
In case of changes in the COVID AUTOMAT and transition to another phase, the course of teaching shall be adjusted.

A rare visit led by the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China took place today 05.08.2021. The delegation was presented with the outputs of the scientific and economic activities of the faculty in the premises of the Prototype and Innovation Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University in Košice. In addition to hydrogen technologies, there was great interest in implants and possible cooperation in this area, not only educational but also commercial.
Today, August 3, 2021, with the participation of the Minister of Economy and Deputy Prime Minister Richard Sulík, the first hydrogen bus manufactured in Slovakia was handed over.
The contractors of the bus are the Technical University of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the company Rošero.
The bus is unique in its use of low-pressure hydrogen storage in metal hydride alloy compounds and its management is adapted to urban traffic.
