A graduate of the study field of Transport Machinery and Equipment is qualified to perform activities in the operation and maintenance of transport machinery and equipment, to carry out design and construction activities in the field of transport machinery and equipment.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills
The graduate of the study field Transport Machinery and Equipment has knowledge in the field of theory, construction and construction of transport and handling equipment (eg cranes, conveyors, elevators, handling equipment) and in the field of design of logistics (transport and handling) systems, such as material flow control, warehouse management, system solution of material handling. By defining boundary (working) conditions and analyzing suitable methods for solving transport and material handling tasks, he is able to create, implement and manage highly efficient integrated logistics systems with transport machines and equipment. He has in-depth knowledge of the theory of strength, reliability and durability of structures using current computer design systems. In the study he is acquainted with experimental methods of testing machines. He is able to independently design and construct transport machines and equipment with regard to the requirements of their functionality, dimensioning efficiency, reliability and durability. He masters the methods of construction and testing of transport machines and handling equipment and the principles of designing material flows using modern logistics principles. He has knowledge of introducing the theory of reliability into practical applications.
