Another interesting lecture by experts from practice was attended by students from the Department of Technology, Materials and Computer Support of Production. On 17.10.2023 we were visited by experts from BSH Drives and Pumps s.r.o. Michalovce, who presented current and future trends in the design of drives.
TOP Student Thesis 2023 - Winners Award

Graduates of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of TUKE became winners of the TOP Student Thesis competition, which is announced annually by UVP TECHNICOM and DEUTSCHE TELECOM IT Solutions.
Dissertation of Ing. Branko Štefanovič, PhD. "Innovative Approaches in Orthopaedics" won the Health Care category and the dissertation of Ing. František Kupec, PhD. titled "Design of an innovative solution of a car body part to optimize aerodynamics" won the Industry category.
The awards were ceremonially presented today in the presence of Mr. Dean prof. Živčák, supervisor doc. Fabian, representatives of DEUTSCHE TELECOM IT Solutions and representatives of Škoda Auto. We warmly congratulate the awardees.
Visit of the Ambassador of India to TUKE

The management of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of TUKE welcomed the Ambassador of India Mrs. Apoorva Srivastava along with her students at the university.
MSV Brno 2023

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University in Košice presented at the International Engineering Fair 2023 in Brno an integrated robotic workplace SPACEYE with a collaborative robot and with the support of 3D robotic vision, whose task is the automatic selection of randomly oriented parts and their sorting. It is a joint workplace with industrial partners MDJ, s.r.o., Kybernetes, s.r.o. and FANUC Slovakia s.r.o. The workplace is intended for scientific research activities and student education.
Excursion to the Ružín Pumped Storage Power Plant

Students of the Department of Energy Engineering took part in an excursion on 12.10.2023 to the pumping hydropower plant Ružín, which was organized by the agency MERTEL.
