On June 25, 2021, a traditional meeting of employees of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University in Košice Juniáles 2021 took place in UVZ Herľany. On this occasion, Dean of faculty Dr. h. c. mult. prof. Ing. Jozef Živčák, PhD., MPH awarded several awards to faculty staff. Among the awarded employees were also several ÚMPaDI employees.

On April 4, 2024 (Thursday) at 9:00 a.m. for full-time students in room 205 and on April 5, 2024 (Friday) at 8:00 a.m. for combined students in room 206 will take place at the Department of Industrial and Digital Engineering (hereinafter KPaDI) department round ŠVOČ for the academic year 2023/2024.

Participation is mandatory for all KPaDI students of the 3rd year of the 1st degree and for all students of the 2nd year of the 2nd degree, in attendance.

Students will present parts of diploma and bachelor's theses, which will be officially evaluated by a professional committee. Works according to the template below in the range of 15 - 20 pages must be delivered no later than 03.04. 2024 until 12:00 to the office of the secretary of the department Ing. Klimenta, PhD..

Even before that, it is necessary to show your text documents as well as presentations to the supervisors of your final theses and deliver them to the secretary only after their approval.

Each participant is obliged to prepare an interactive presentation. Interactive presentations of individual works must be processed in ppt (Power-point) format. The time range should be 5 to 7 minutes long.

The best works will advance to the faculty round, which will take place according to the instructions on the website http://www.sjf.tuke.sk/.

Dear graduating students,

as every year, as well as in this academic year, a departmental round of student scientific and professional activities will take place, which is mandatory for all students in their final years, both for the 3rd Bc and the 2nd Ing. The results of your final theses will be presented to the expert committee, from which several representatives will be selected based on the quality of the presented works and will advance to the faculty round.

Each student is required to insert the most important parts of their final thesis into the attached template in the form of a text document and also into the attached template for preparing the presentation.

The length of your presentation should be within the range of 5 to 7 minutes, and when presenting, focus primarily on the practical points and benefits of your final thesis.

Please insert your text documents as well as presentations into MS teams, where a group will be prepared for this purpose in which you will all be assigned.

Dear end-of-year students

Dear students of the ending years, on 7.4.2022 from 8:30 am. The SVOČ departmental round will take place. Subsequently, it is necessary to create a presentation for this text part using the MS Power Point software, which will need to be presented in the range of 5 to 7 minutes. The order of the presenters will be in alphabetical order, after each presenter the members of the commission will express the work with instructions for the presenter with regard to the topic as well as the method of presentation.

Participation in the department round is mandatory for all ending students of our department.

As for your presentations, try to adhere to the time limit for one presenter of 5 maximum 7 minutes. Save your presentations as attachments of this group to the files section, each student will create a folder with their name in this section, in which they will insert their presentation.
