The management of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of TUKE and the company ROŠERO - P s.r.o. received today a visit of the First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in the Slovak Republic, Mr. Kiyotaka Tanaka.
The subject of the visit was the interest in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of TUKE in terms of the structure of study programmes and scientific research activities, especially in the field of hydrogen technologies.
At the same time, it was agreed that the next visit of our faculty will be made by the Ambassador of Japan in Slovakia in March 2024.

Opening of the ESLA ergonomics laboratory at KBaKP

At the Department of Production Safety and Quality (KBaKP), we managed to renovate the ergonomic laboratory ESLA.
Together with our management and representatives from U.S. Steel and Magna and Mr. Ing. Rudolf Hrivík, PhD., who financially supported the reconstruction, we inaugurated the laboratory and put it into operation.
The ESLA laboratory is equipped with various ergonomic and safety features and equipment, which serve not only for research, but above all are a tool for teaching and educating our students so that they are as thoroughly prepared as possible for work in practice.
We thank you for your support and hope that the laboratory will bear fruit.

Vo štvrtok 30.11.2023 sa študenti Strojného inžinierstva zúčastnili exkurzie do zvolenského závodu spoločnosti Continental Automotive Systems Slovakia s.r.o, ktorá sa venuje vývoju a výrobe brzdových strmeňov pre osobné automobily.
Študenti si mali možnosť prejsť všetkými etapami ich vývoja, od návrhu, cez simulácie až po finálne testovanie a čiastočne aj výrobu.
Program bol naozaj pestrý a zaujímavý.
Ďakujeme spoločnosti Continental a jej pracovníkom za cenné poznatky z praxe a za čas, ktorý našim študentom venovali.
Už teraz sa tešíme na spoluprácu pri riešení záverečných prác.
