Mechanical and Technological Testing Laboratory (M74-044)
Responsible person: doc. Ing. Ľudmila Dulebová, PhD.
Location: Mäsiarska 74
Focus of the laboratory
The laboratory focuses on research into the mechanical and technological properties of materials. At present, the laboratory houses equipment that is used for scientific and research activities of basic and applied research, as well as for the solution of final bachelor, diploma and doctoral theses at the department. The laboratory's areas of expertise include the measurement of specimen lengths in the longitudinal and transverse directions, determination of mechanical properties of materials, modelling of bending and deep drawing processes, determination of sheet metal formability characteristics (deformation limits, limit strain curves, minimum bending radii, angle of suspension, determination of forming forces), and sheet metal formability tests.
