The Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic awarded the Ján Bahýľ Prize to employees of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering for a patent

The Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic awarded the Technical University in Košice the Ján Bahýľ Prize for patent no entitled Method of disposal of cyanobacteria in still waters and equipment for its implementation whose originators are prof Ing Dusan Sebo PhD Dr h c mult prof Ing Miroslav Badida PhD Doc Ing Juraj Sebo PhD and Ing Monika Fedorčáková Ph D from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering TUKE nbsp Since the Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic has been awarding the Ján Bahýľ Prize to Slovak originators and owners of patents utility models and designs for their exceptional technical or design solutions in order to increase creativity in Slovakia nbsp The invention has also been patented in the United States Canada and Japan nbsp nbsp nbsp nbsp
