Through personalized implants, our faculty has become a proud part of the Slovak exhibition at the world exhibition EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Japan, which takes place from April 13, 2025, to October 13, 2025.

The delegation from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of TUKE, led by the Dean, Prof. Jozef Živčák, visited the exhibition grounds in Osaka in person from June 16 to June 22, 2025. During their visit, the delegation members prepared and presented two professional lectures on "Health and Innovation" in the European Union Auditorium. The content of the lectures focused on the transfer and innovation of custom-made implants and personalized hospitals of the future.
Great attention was drawn to the presentation on additive technologies in personalized implantology and tissue substitutes. Based on this, Japanese experts and physicians initiated professional consultations with the Slovak delegation from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of TUKE in unique premises, which also included the potential for applied practice and procedures in the thematic pavilion – Health Care.

The faculty representatives highly appreciated the organizational support for their participation and professional lectures provided under the auspices of the Slovak team, led by the Commissioner General Michaela Kovačičová.
