On Tuesday (June 16,2020), five researchers received the Scientist of the Year 2019 award at the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University in Bratislava. Emil Spišák from the Institute of Technological and Materials Engineering of the Technical University in Košice triumphed in the Technologist of the Year category. He received the award for the design and implementation of the Prototype and Innovation Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University in Košice, as a technological basis for the implementation of research results of employees and students of the Technical University in Košice and their transfer to the industrial background of Slovakia.

Technologist of the year

In 2015 similary to previous years, the Slovak Welding Society awarded selected bachelors and masters theses for the academic year 2014/2015 in the study field of Production Technologies. Our students received the awards from Ing. Pavel Radič, president of the Slovak Welding Society on June 30, 2015 in Aula Maxima at the Technical University of Košice. 

Bachelor thesis

1. Methods of welding components in the manufacture of passenger car seats.

The Slovak Welding Company, represented by President Pavel Radič, awarded our students in the field of production technologies. The award for the best bachelors thesis went to Bc. Adam Varga and the award for the best diploma thesis won by Ing. René Kubík. Congratulations to the winners.
