The cassette for expanding the possibilities of measuring bulk materials in an impedance tube consists of a cassette body (1) with external and internal threads, a lower perforated bottom (2) with an external thread for connection to the cassette body (1) and an upper perforated lid (3) with internal thread for connection to the body (1) of the cassette. It is advantageous to modify the body (1) of the cassette in dimension L for stable and homogeneous values of compact pressing pressure (kPa) and standard thickness and length of pressed material (mm). The use of the cassette allows users and processors of shredded waste to provide the values of the sound absorption coefficient (α) required for the certification of their products.
