The Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic awarded the Technical University in Košice the Ján Bahýľ Prize for patent no. 288407 entitled Method of disposal of cyanobacteria in stagnant waters and equipment for its implementation, the originators of which are prof. Ing. Dušan Šebo, Ph.D., Dr. h. c. mult. prof. Ing. Miroslav Badida, Ph.D., Doc. Ing. Juraj Šebo, Ph.D. and Ing. Monika Fedorčáková, Ph.D. from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering TUKE.
