Since 2007, the Department of Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering has been organizing the international conference MMaMS - Modeling of Mechanical and Mechatronic Systems, which is focused on the content of::
• modeling and simulation of mechanical, mechatronic and biomechanical systems,
• design of mechanical, mechatronic, biomechanical and robotic systems,
• experimental methods in mechanics, electronics, mechatronics, biomechanics and robotics.

The Department of Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering is the organizer of selected years of the International Scientific Conference EAN - Experimental Stress Analysis, which is focused on:
- Development of experimental methods in mechanics, biomechanics and materials engineering;
- New methods and applications serving to analyse deformation, stress and vibration in mechanical, civil and other constructions;
- Experiment as a tool for verification of analytical and numerical methods;
- Experimental research and prediction of strength, durability, and operating reliability of constructions and devices;
- Tracking and monitoring of operating loads and operating conditions of structures and devices;
- Methods and means of teaching experimental methods;
