On April 28, 2026, a five-a-side football tournament for the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering TUKE Cup took place, with teams from six faculties of the Technical University of Košice competing (FME, FE, FBERG, FA, FCE, FMT in Prešov). The tournament was held in a friendly atmosphere that all teams thoroughly enjoyed, while favorable weather and the competitiveness of the players contributed to a truly sporting spirit.

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was represented by two teams:

Team FME “A”:
Antal Dávid (captain), Vírostko Matúš, Balica Samuel, Novotný Dominik, Slezák Timotej, Ivan Miroslav, Rejdovian Filip

Team FME “B”:
Assoc. Prof. Peter Malega, Čverčko Samuel Rado, Huraj Tadeáš, Paľovčík Juraj, Barila Jakub, Leshchenko, Jakubjak Tomáš

The victory was deservedly claimed by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering team, specifically Team FME “A”, and the travelling trophy thus remains “at home”.

Individual awards were also presented:

• Best goalkeeper of the tournament: Giorgio Fešovič (FE)

• Top scorer of the tournament: Peter Blaško (FBERG)

• Best player of the tournament: Miroslav Ivan (FME)
