On December 11, 2025, the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Košice, Prof. Jozef Živčák, was ceremonially promoted to the academic title of Doctor of Technical Sciences (DrSc.).

Among the promoted was also another professor from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Michal Puškár, which highlights the high professional and scientific standard of our faculty.
