Students Peter Čurma, Dominik Novotný from SjF and Damián Peti and Róbert Ropovik from FVT TUKE recently participated in the prestigious international workshops Global Capstone Design 2025, which were held in Gliwice at the Silesian University of Technology with the support of the Erasmus+ program.

The event, which started on May 26, 2025, was organized within the framework of the Project-Based Learning method. In total, ten international teams from seven partner universities met, including, in addition to domestic universities from Poland, the Technical University of Košice and five universities from South Korea with which TUKE has signed memoranda of understanding. These are SunMoon University, Kookmin University, Keimyung University, Daerim University and Chungbuk National University.

SjF TUKE student Ing. Peter Čurma presents the results of his team's project

The Global Capstone Design Workshops provided students with a unique opportunity to collaborate on innovative solutions for the future of mobility. The project creation process included problem analysis, market research, solution design, and prototype production, which the teams ultimately presented to a panel of experts and potential investors.

Participation in this event allowed students to develop not only technical skills, but also to improve their teamwork and effective communication skills in an international environment. Students also had access to modern technological tools and the opportunity to establish valuable professional contacts, which for many can be the first step towards an international career in industry.

The event culminated in the final presentation of the ten teams' projects and the competition for the best solutions, which took place on May 29, 2025. This experience confirmed the value of international cooperation and the importance of practically oriented education, which helps students prepare for the challenges of the future labor market. Thank you for this great experience.
