Introduction
The postgraduate conference Novus Scientia 2018 aims at the presentation of research outcomes of postgraduate students at faculties of mechanical engineering and related faculties of technical universities and colleges. The conference is the opportunity for postgraduate students to present the results of their research activities, discuss them in a broader context, establish a cooperation between departments and individuals who carry out research in related fields, and enhance the quality of research at postgraduate level. The conference will be held under the auspices of Dr.h.c. mult. prof. Ing. František Trebuňa, CSc., Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Technical University in Košice.
